We’re at home socially distancing ourselves, but many healthcare workers are risking their lives and working overtime at the frontlines to serve their communities and keep everyone else safe. The work that they are doing is so honorable, and just as they are serving the community, many companies want to show their support by, in turn, serving them! Take a look at what companies are doing for our frontline healthcare workers during this time:
Krispy Kreme
Donuts make everything a little bit better, right? Krispy Kreme is giving away free dozens of donuts to healthcare workers! All you have to do is show your ID/badge when you order and you can have a limit of 5 dozen donuts of your choice.
Starbucks
Starbucks has been doing a lot for its employees during this time, but is also supporting healthcare workers! The company is offering free tall brewed coffee, hot or iced, for all front-line responders until May 3. Check out Starbucks’ website for more information about this deal and locations that are open.
Crocs
Crocs is donating 10,000 shoes per day to healthcare workers! You can get in line at 12pm through the company’s website to enter to win a free pair of shoes. This is going on every day, so you’ll have a chance to enter more than once!
Uber
Uber, typically used when you need a ride and don’t want to worry about parking or driving, is helping out during this time by offering free ride services to healthcare workers, both for those who are traveling to and from patient’s homes as well as between healthcare facilities.
Airbnb
Airbnb is known as a site where you can find the coolest and cutest getaways to stay at, but during this time, they’re giving healthcare workers a place to stay close to patients while safely distancing themselves from their own families. The company is waiving all fees up to the first 100k responders booking their stay until May 31, 2020.
Delta Airlines
Delta Airlines is also helping out by offering free flights! Eligible medical volunteers can fly roundtrip for free to Georgia, Louisiana and Michigan. All details will be approved by the state, and more information can be found here.
Hilton Hotels
Hilton Hotels is donating 1 million free room nights to frontline healthcare workers around the U.S. until the end of May. This is for healthcare staff that need a place to sleep after working or need to distance themselves from family members.
