Halloween on Hold in Lexington!

 

As many of you have probably already heard, Lexington’s city officials have postponed trick-or-treating until tomorrow due to the possibility of bad weather.  And while many are disappointed by the last minute change, hope is not lost!  Lexington has more to offer than snickers and starbursts.  So, check out these family friendly activities that are sure to be a hit!

 

Enjoy the last Thursday Night Live for the season at Cheapside Park under the Pavilion from 4:30 to 8:00pm.  Tonight’s set will feature Radio 80, and as always, is free to the public.  And while they may not be handing out candy, local vendors will be on hand selling food and beverages.

If you don’t mind a bit of a trip tonight, you might want to check out Wild Turkey Distillery’s Ghost tour.  A guide from the Distillery will lead guest around the grounds regaling the brave with creepy stories of past sightings and strange occurrences.

If you’d like to stay closer to home, but are still looking for ghosts and goblins, you might be interested in Lexington’s 13th Annual Ghost Walk and Creepy Crawl.  Meet outside Sawyer’s Grill at 8pm for a 90-minute walk with Kevin Steele to hear stories of what goes bump in the night in our little city.

Cost: $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under (cash only)
