Lane Team Guide: Bring Your Dog!

dog-guide-tumblr

It’s that time of year, folks! The sun is shining, the grass is green, and Lexingtonians are coming out of winter hibernation. But while you’re grabbing your car keys and sunglasses, don’t forget about man’s best friend! After a winter indoors our canines could use some quality sunshine too, so The Lane Team has put together a list of our favorite dog-friendly Lexington spots. We have everything from local breweries and restaurants to hotel stays for the traveling puppy parents. Use this list to explore the city we know and love with your four-legged family member!

The Sage Rabbit – “Sustainable, seasonal, and local” is the motto of Chef John Foster’s Chevy Chase restaurant. The menu is constantly changing to highlight the absolute freshest ingredients in town! You and your dog can enjoy the fresh food and patio together!

Mirror Twin Brewing – Head Brewer Derek DeFranco discovered his passion after home brewing for two years and opened Mirror Twin Brewing. As an identical twin, Derek is right handed and his brother is left handed, makingthem the mirror image of each other and giving this brewery it’s name. Dogs are allowed inside and outside this expansive brewery with in-house pizza!
